Briar Road Public School were beyond thrilled to honour and once again learn from the most amazing firefighters on First Responders Day.
Our students spent time learning and talking about the impact that our first responders have in our lives. We created cards for our ‘fire friends’ and the learning was made more impactful when the Campbelltown Station A platoon and the Retained Firefighters visited our school.
Two of our casual General Assistants are NSW Firefighters – David (Bud) Scholes and Darren Clunne. They are the most amazing role models for our children and wider community. We feel privileged to have such fine gentlemen working in our school.
Thank you to the entire NSW Fire Rescue for what you do in keeping our families, homes and community safe. We are beyond proud to know some of you and all the work you do! Thank, thank and thank you!
Happy First Responders Day
