Who knew you could learn so much from baking cupcakes? Miss Donohoe and Mr Sampson covered a range of subjects using cooking to deliver many different types of learning.
Math - By using using measuring cups and learning about millilitres, litres, oz, and gms we learnt about measuring different volumes.
Science - We learnt how to manipulate the state of materials with reversible and irreversible changes. Turning cake mixture (matter), into batter (liquid) and back into a cake (matter).
Cooking - Following directions, method and cooking with different ingredients.
Fun - Making a mess and eating the cupcakes.
Who knew learning could be so fun?
